A life of crime finally caught up to Kaldor in his attempt to rise through the underbelly of Stronghold Peak.

As this city is not one to waste the skills of renown fighters within its walls, instead of putting its criminals to the sword it puts those criminals to use defending with the sword.

The path to join the military ranks of Stronghold Peak lies through participation in the Gauntlet where the coin they would earn is forfeited, but as luck would have it, their lives are not.
