A Conqueror for Ishigo Valley, Nera participates in the Gauntlets to show leaders of her tribe that their ways are outdated. While her grandfather was a Champion, tradition prevents her from obtaining this role.

She does not believe a Champion should have the right to make children with women coupled to another and the only way to change this is to become a Champion herself.
