As a member of the one of Sun City’s many merchant guilds, Torvia’s purpose in the Gauntlet is purely financially motivated. The merchant guilds are notorious for sending their highest ranked fighter into the Gauntlet since the outcome of the games determine the seasonal shift of power among the traders in the city.
